How it all begun

The Apostolic and Prophetic ministry of Fresh Aroma International Ministries was supernaturally birthed by The Holy Spirit through The Visionary, Prophetess Mwaka Twagirayesu.  During a season of intense trials and challenges, The Lord woke me up

at 3 am on June 18, 2004 and spoke to me and said, “Its Your Time”  The voice of The Lord was so clear and sharp, I sat upright in bed and asked, “My time for what”

He spoke again and said, “Its your time”  I decided to seek Him further and in my heart and mind I thought the Lord was giving me a message for the local church we were pastoring at the time in Boston, MA.  I felt in my spirit there was more The Lord wanted me to know and so begun to pray.  As soon as I begun to intercede, I saw hundreds of faces from different backgrounds, races and nations who were crying out for help.  I felt the compassion of The Lord rise in me, the people in the vision seemed so overwhelmed and in need of urgent help. The Lord asked me a question, “Will you go and minister healing, restoration and transformation to these people for me, Will you take My Love to them, will you go . . .”

I begun to tell The Lord that I was not the right candidate because we were going through so many challenges as a family and in our ministry.  The faces in The vision were beckoning to me and in the midst of tears I said, “Yes Lord I will go for you”

Immediately the power of God hit me, the joy of The Lord returned, I felt refreshed, renewed and energized in His presence. 

The Holy Spirit gave me the scripture  2 Corinthians 2:14-15:

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance (aroma) of His knowledge in every place, For we are to God the fragrance (aroma) of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing”

Testimony

Since saying “Yes” to The Lord, He has opened so many doors all over The USA, Europe and Africa to take His Healing, Restoration and Transformation.  Souls have been saved, People have been set free from all manner of addictions and bondages and the sick have been healed.  Through the prophetic ministry, believers prayer lives have been ignited, their passion for God has been rekindled, people believing for marriage have found that special someone and gotten married ! Miracle babies have been born ! Marriages have been strengthened, Ministers have been restored and even birthed mighty ministries, students have gotten scholarships and many have experienced financial breakthroughs.

All we can say is To God be The Glory great things He has done.  It is The Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our sight !

Our Vision is to minister Healing, Restoration and Transformation through the dynamic preaching of The Word of God and demonstration of The Power of God.

Our Assignment  is to carry Heaven’s Fragrance wherever The Holy Spirit leads us as His Kingdom Ambassadors.

We are called to bring the  Joy of The Lord  to the sorrowful.

We are called to bring Victory where there is defeat.

We are called to bring Prosperity where there is poverty.

We are called to bring Abundance where there is lack.

We are called to bring Direction to those who have lost their way.

We are called to bring Vision to the lost.

We are called to bring Clarity and Purpose to the misguided

We are called to bring Stability to the unstable

We are called to bring Consistency to the inconsistent.

We are called to speak life to those who feel they have reached the end of their rope

We are called to Heal the diseased and wounded

We are called to Restore what the enemy has stolen from the people of God

We are called to Transform people from every nation, tribe and tongue

Prophetess Mwaka Twagirayesu is The President, CEO and Founder of Fresh Aroma International Ministries, a ministry birthed by The Holy Spirit with an apostolic and prophetic global mandate to release God's fragrance through The dynamic preaching of The Word of God and demonstration of The Power of God in churches, cities and nations. Fresh Aroma is anointed to bring healing, restoration and transformation to people from all walks of life. Fresh Aroma has been called and ordained by God to empower, edify and equip the Body of Christ with strategic tools for Kingdom advancement and called to win souls for The Kingdom.

Prophetess Mwaka is a prolific preacher and teacher of The Word of God, an international conference speaker, an anointed psalmist, a woman of prayer who operates under a powerful prophetic mantle. Countless lives have been impacted and transformed through her ministry. She ministers with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Her greatest passion is to see The Body of Christ come out of complacency and mediocrity and become the people of power, purpose and influence God created them to be. She receives numerous invitations to minister at conventions, conferences, crusades and retreats and has travelled all over The USA, Europe and Africa preaching the glorious Gospel of Our Savior Jesus Christ, The Lord confirming His Word with signs and wonders.

Together with her husband Apostle Darius Twagirayesu, they have been pioneers in Christian Ministry and church planters in The New England. Numerous churches, ministries and fellowships have been birthed in Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire through their first church, All Nations Christian Center, a church which had over 30 nations from Africa and The Carribbean. She assists her husband with International Hope For Africa, an organization he founded which is devoted to poverty reduction, academic education and economic empowerment in Africa, one nation at a time, www.ihopeforrwanda.org

Prophetess Mwaka is an Attorney by education, she received her Law degree from The University of Buckingham in Buckingham, England in 1990. She also studied at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she received a Masters in Sociology in 1992. From 1995 - 2005, she worked as a Family Resource Social Worker, Mediator and Legal Advisor at United Homes For Children, Inc. Among her many responsibilities was to access academic, legal, medical and housing resources for children, youth and families in need. She also served as a Consultant with her agency to Hurricane Katrina victims who had relocated to Massachusetts and The New England area. She uses her education and academic achievements to serve God with a spirit of Excellence, Integrity and Professionalism.

Prophetess Mwaka and Apostle Darius are the proud parents of three miracle boys ages 8, 7 and 3. Through their international ministry they have mentored and raised and continue to raise many spiritual sons and daughters who are doing a tremendous work for The Kingdom of God in The USA, Europe and Africa.

Prophetess Mwaka acknowledges outstanding Servants of God who have mentored her in the ministry namely Ev. Teresia Wairimu and Prophet Bernard Blessing. She honors her Spiritual Father, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams for the great investment, impact and impartation she has received and continues to receive from his outstanding life, testimony & global apostolic ministry.

In addition to her busy ministry schedule, Prophetess Mwaka continues to serve as Ministerial and Public Relations Liasion to her biological Mother, Her Excellency, Dr. Inonge Lewanika, who is The Ambassador of Zambia to The USA, based in Washington, DC.
